On Monday Morning at Pattaya City Hall, Khun Pisai, a City Councilor, chaired a meeting of Tattoo shop owners and workers to discuss plans to regulate and license the industry which has rapidly expanded here in Pattaya over the last few years. Over 100 delegates attended the meeting and were given a brief overview of the plans and the qualifications and hygiene standards which will need to be attained for the license. Once the scheme is underway, any unlicensed Tattoo shops will be closed down by the Local Administration. This is seen as a good move by Pattaya City Hall after some complaints have been received relating to unhygienic shops.
